For the community or workplace, our online portion offers a portal for students to participate in real life scenarios and perform life-saving skills. The online portion is full of information and helpful demonstrations that allow students to gain a firm basis of how act as first responders. This is a great option if you are short on time. The online portion allows you to work at your own pace and the staff is available for skills sessions throughout the week and weekend. We offer the online and skills session sold together as well as skills sessions for students who have completed the online portion elsewhere.

The AHA’s Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online Part 1 Course is a blended learning course that contains information on how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This course provides a one-stop shop for pediatric first aid, CPR and AED training needs for child care providers. You will learn:

This course is for anyone with a reasonable chance for occupational exposure to blood or blood-containing materials.
This course teaches:
- What bloodborne pathogens are and how they are spread
- Protection from exposure and how to act if exposed
- How to clean up after exposure
- How to tell or report any exposure
Duration: 1 hour, site-specific instruction varies. AHA provides 24-hour phone support for questions pertaining to the content in this course.
